Loving Welsh Food guides now offer their tours in 5 languages. Sian B Roberts and Sian Evans have worked as tour guides in France, Italy, Austria and Spain so they are no strangers to making sure your clients will have a great experience.

With ‘Loving Welsh Food’ tours, your clients can experience some amazing Welsh produce and explore Wales’ food heritage, people and traditions. Wales is packed full of wonderful produce and dedicated growers and producers. From whisky and wine to welshcakes and cheese. Our home-grown produce is special. Thanks to our spectacular mountains, stunning coastlines and occasionally a little rain we have the perfect mix to create the ideal environment for award winning produce.

Already having some German speaking tourist’s book a Loving Welsh Food tour has inspired Sian B Roberts to study German and brush up on the language, so that they can offer the tours in German too.

Sian B Roberts told us: “I worked as a Tour Guide in Austria many years ago and picked up the language while working in Innsbruck, Salzburg and Vienna –but never studied the language. I am now taking lessons to improve my vocabulary and work out the grammar! It is definitely a challenge but I am enjoying the studying. It would be great to be able to offer the tours in the near future.”

“I had some Austrians on a food tour in March of this year and was able to practice my German with them. I learnt the lovely word “lecker” – meaning delicious. I also confused them slightly telling them Cardiff was once the largest cabbage (der Kohl) exporting port in the world rather than coal (die Kohle). More studying is obviously needed!”

Loving Welsh Food can offer food and drink tours for individuals and groups, they can also design personalised tours based on their needs, tastes and interests. They can arrange transport, special talks, tastings and lunch/dinner into the itinerary.
