Cruise ships dock in boost for Pembrokeshire tourism

Three different cruise ships are docking in Pembrokeshire within the space of a week ringing an expected spend of £120,000 into Wales.


The MS Delphin and MS Astor will bring visitors from Germany, while the MV Discovery, which docks in Milford Haven on Friday, will bring passengers from Liverpool on a tour of southern Ireland, Wales and the Scilly Isles.


Free shuttle buses will be available for passengers joining day excursions into Pembrokeshire along with other attractions such as classic cars and the opportunity to view birds of prey.


Tourism experts estimate that cruise passengers visiting Pembrokeshire spend an average of £80 each on shore.
